Swipe Bites

It’s Sunday afternoon. You’re looking for an amazing dessert place in the city to go with your friends. You’re using Google and Yelp, but there are just too many options and descriptions and menus to read through. You pretty much only look at their food pictures on Instagram anyway. Wouldn’t it be nice if you had a quick, easy, fun, visual way to find a place to eat? You should use our mobile app, Swipe Bites.

"Swipe Bites is a social media food app that allows users to swipe pictures of food to find places to eat. "
— Emma

With Swipe Bites, you can search a specific type of food (such as desserts) and pictures of desserts in the NYC area will appear. Users can swipe right if they like the pictured food, and left if they do not. The desirable food pictures will be added to a list that the user then can refer to, to find where to purchase the pictured desserts.

We are in the process of further developing this application. Please look forward to Swipe Bites!
