Often, people set numerous goals for themselves, but don’t complete all of them. They lack the motivation to accomplish these goals. The solution is an app/website that motivates people to accomplish goals. First each user picks a partner from her friends or social network. They then chooses a challenge to work on together and decides on the duration, frequency, and “motivation.” The user then decides between two options for her “motivation”: either give the money to her partner, or donate it to a charity of her choice. Once she has completed his goal, she can send it to her partner for them to verify via a picture, a video, or a map location. If her partner verifies, then the money is safely returned to the users' bank account. If she didn't complete his goal, the money is either sent to her partner or directly to a charity. This way, if our users don’t complete their personal goals, they can still feel empowered in that they are contributing to the societal goal of bettering the world.
"Working on this project with each other helped us learn what we're passionate about, what we can work on, and what we do best. Motivation Station was a great opportunity for us to learn how to create a website, and we plan to work on this more in the future. "
