HandiMap is an interactive website that will help the differently abled people to find information about any place in the world. Our website implemented four different APIs to provide the user with the most up to date and real time search results. When the user opens the Go Places page, the browser will ask the user for his or her current location. From there, the user can search for their destination. Similar to the app Yelp, our website can filter and give results about any venues around your current location. But what sets HandiMap apart from others is the fact that its search results contain information like the existence of a wheelchair ramp, braille signs, and the noise environment.

"HandiMap' complex API work is confusing and frustrating at first. But with hard work and extra time, we made the map actually work! HandiMap was something I loved working on because I know it can make a difference in the world. "
