Diversitive is a brand new mobile web application that highlights exciting and diverse cultural trends. Unlike competitors such as Eventbrite and Meetup with their overly general scope of events and limited functionality, Diversitive allows for a high level of customization that makes it very easily accessible to the consumer. Designed to help users get in touch with their own heritage or explore new cultures, this app searches for and displays a list of nearby events and activities of interest. Some of its main interactive features include personalized newsfeeds and maps with pop-up information, which allow users to discover other local cultural enthusiasts. Hoping to find bhangra dance classes, authentic Hispanic eateries, or Japanese tea ceremonies in the area, but don’t know where to start? Look no further than Diversitive, the super cool search engine and social media solution that connects people to the familiar, to the new, and to one another.

"My favorite part about working on Diversitive was recognizing how much Computer Science means to me and being able to proudly say that "I am a girl who codes!" GWC made me realize that I want to pursue CS in the future. "
